This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, east
central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few showers and perhaps a rumble or thunder are possible this
morning, with a moderate chance for showers and thunderstorms
tonight. The risk for severe weather is low.

Areas of surface smoke will result in unhealthy air quality at
times, especially for sensitive groups.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Areas of smoke will linger into Saturday, but more southerly winds
should bring improving conditions by Sunday.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will persist through the
weekend. At this time, the risk for severe weather this weekend
appears low.

Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will linger through
the middle of next week. However, uncertainty remains in coverage and
potential severity.

Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South
Dakota and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Areas of surface smoke will result in unhealthy air quality at
times, especially for sensitive groups.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Areas of smoke will linger into Saturday, but more southerly winds
should bring improving conditions by Sunday.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will slowly expand east
toward I-29 late Saturday, and into southwest Minnesota and northwest
Iowa Sunday. The risk for severe weather this weekend is low.

Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will linger through
the middle of next week. However, uncertainty remains in coverage and
potential severity.
