This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rain and snow return beginning late tonight. Any snow accumulations
overnight should remain light, less than an inch and focused along
and north of a Huron to Sioux Center line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A early winter system moves through the region Saturday bringing
rain and accumulating snow to the region. Snowfall amounts are
expected to remain light, but monitor the forecast, especially if
you have travel plans.

Strong wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected Saturday across south
central South Dakota.

An influx of colder air over the weekend will lead to wind chills in
the single digits to teens Sunday and Monday mornings.
