This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, east central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Rain and a few embedded thunderstorms early this morning will
diminish by midday. Additional rainfall amounts of a quarter inch to
near an inch will be possible through this evening, with highest
amounts in portions of southwest Minnesota. Poor drainage areas may
see ponding water.

If thunderstorms can redevelop in portions of northwest Iowa by late
afternoon, an isolated strong to severe storm will be possible. The
primary risk would be damaging wind gusts to 60 mph, though an
isolated tornado is also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
