Shower and storm chances return tonight. Although severe weather is not expected, a stronger storm could produce dime sized hail and wind gusts to 50 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Periodic storm chances continue into early next week, with the highest chances from the afternoon of July 4th into Saturday. Although the risk is low, a strong to severe storm or two are possible Wednesday and Wednesday night. Quarter sized hail and wind gusts to 60 mph are the main hazards. Severe weather is not expected for Independence Day into the weekend; however, locally heavy rainfall is possible.
