This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Shower and storm chances return tonight. Although severe weather is
not expected, a stronger storm could produce dime sized hail and wind
gusts to 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Periodic storm chances continue into early next week, with the
highest chances from the afternoon of July 4th into Saturday.

Although the risk is low, a strong to severe storm or two are
possible Wednesday and Wednesday night. Quarter sized hail and wind
gusts to 60 mph are the main hazards. Severe weather is not expected
for Independence Day into the weekend; however, locally heavy
rainfall is possible.

Hot and humid conditions return mid to late week, with heat index
values approaching 100 degrees at times.
