This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Very warm conditions with excessive humidity continue through
this evening with peak heat index values expected to vary between
95 and 105 degrees. The warmest readings will be south of
Interstate 90.

Scattered thunderstorms will become more likely by mid evening,
especially north of Interstate 90. If storms can develop between
about 7 pm and 11 pm, 2 inch hail and wind gusts to 70 mph are
possible. Otherwise any severe weather should remain very
isolated over the remainder of the area. Very late tonight into
early Saturday morning an isolated severe storm will be possible
in northwest Iowa with half dollar hail and wind gusts to 70 mph
the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

No hazardous weather expected at this time.
