This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska,
central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central
South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible by early
afternoon and continue into the evening. While severe weather is
not expected, some patchy heavy rain will be possible. The better
chance for heavier rain, amounting to 1 to 3 inches in a short
period of time, will be roughly between interstate 90 and the
Missouri River in southeast South Dakota then into northwest Iowa.
This amount of rain, due to saturated ground, could cause some
localized streams and creeks to overflow as well as some street
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Additional chances for showers and thunderstorms will occur over the
weekend. However, uncertainty remains in severity and coverage.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
