Another cold and dreary day will be on tap as the high peaks around only around 9 degrees this afternoon. Could have intermittent flurries throughout the day as a system progresses through the region. Light and variable winds this morning will become light northwesterly winds by this afternoon as mixing heights slightly increase to 1-2kft leading to fair smoke dispersal rates. Otherwise, mixing heights will decrease overnight as light and variable winds return leading to poor smoke dispersal rates. From Thursday into Friday, southerly to southeasterly surface winds will become breezy with gusts between 20-30 mph possible. Could see the return of periods of light snow from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning with mostly cloudy conditions expected to keep mixing heights less than 2kft. Surface winds will become more northerly by Saturday morning and gradually increase throughout the day with gusts between 20-30 mph possible through the evening hours. .REST OF TODAY...
