Warm temperatures and breezy conditions will combine with a dry air mass to bring elevated fire concerns for this afternoon. Highs today will climb into the upper 70s, with lows tonight in the mid 50s. Minimum relative humidity will fall to around 24%. Winds this morning are light and variable but will increase and become southerly as the morning progresses. Afternoon peak winds will be 10-15 mph sustained with gusts 20-25 mph. Late this evening winds will become south to southeast and increase further ahead of an approaching cold front. Gusts of 30-35 mph will continue through sunrise. Tuesday fire concerns increase with highs in the mid to upper 70s with relative humidity falling to critical levels around 20%. Winds will begin to turn west, then northwest behind a cold front and increase from shortly after sunrise and peak in the afternoon. Sustained winds of 20-30 mph with gusts of 35 mph are expected.
