.DISCUSSION...
After a few more scattered showers and storms this morning mainly
along the lower Missouri River Valley and Highway-20 corridors,
quieter conditions return for most of the day with highs peaking
in the low to upper 80s. Similar to the past few days, elevated
dew points and relative humidity values along with lighter surface
winds will keep any fire-related concerns on the lower end.
Lastly, additional showers and thunderstorms will could return
overnight bringing pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall across
portions of the area.
