Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Big Sioux River near Brookings.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Some farm outbuildings begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 10.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest around
    10.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below
    flood stage late Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
