...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT INTERSTATE 17 BETWEEN MUNDS
PARK AND FLAGSTAFF THROUGH 2:30 PM...

At 157 PM MST, an area of heavy snow was located over Schnebly Hill
Overlook, or near Sedona, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Pine Canyon, Submarine Rock, Chimney Rock, Fisher Point, West Fork Of
Oak Creek, Sedona, Pine Flat Campground, Midgely Bridge Swimming
Hole, Downtown Flagstaff, West Fork Trailhead, Schnebly Hill
Overlook, Munds Park, Junipine Resort, Munds Mountain Wilderness,
Soldier Pass Trailhead, Garland`s Oak Creek Lodge, Lake View CG,
University Heights, Thorpe Park, and Mountainaire.

This includes the following highways...
 Route 66 between mile markers 192 and 198.
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 192 and 199.
 Interstate 17 between mile markers 314 and 339.
 State Route 179 between mile markers 312 and 313.
 State Route 89A between mile markers 372 and 398.
 Highway 180 near mile marker 217.

The snow can accumulate at a rate of one inch per hour or more in
this area of heavy snow. Be prepared for hazardous driving
conditions. Consider delaying travel if you will be going through
this area of heavy snow.
