.DISCUSSION...Hot and mostly dry conditions continue through the
period. Friday has the best chance of precipitation with dewpoints
expected to peak in the short term, however this day still appears
to stay primarily dry on the Kaibab. A few isolated showers cannot
be ruled out, but any activity would stay fairly high-based and
wetting rains are not expected. The primary concern over the next
two days is breezy daytime winds. Gusts to 20-30 mph are expected
each afternoon, leading to near critical fire weather conditions.
Winds may remain a bit more elevated tonight and tomorrow night,
with gusts as high as 20 mph possible.
