.DISCUSSION...Light showers are moving through the area this
morning, but should move off to the northwest in the next hour.
Cloud cover from these showers will linger for a few hours
and are expected to thin by the early afternoon hours. This will
help limit the redevelopment of showers and thunderstorms this
afternoon to 20%. Chances for showers and thunderstorms overnight
is currently 20%, with westerly winds expected become southwest
overnight. Increasing monsoonal moisture will increase the
potential for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, especially
during the afternoon and evening hours. Main risk will be flash
flooding and wind gusts to 30 mph if storms due form or move over
the fire area.
