.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms are expected today and
will continue into this evening before tapering off late tonight.
Storm motion will generally push the storms to the north and west.
Storms will be capable of brief heavy rain and producing gusty
outflow winds in excess of 30-40 mph. Additional storm initiation
may occur along outflow boundaries with varying storm motions.
Outside of storms, expect south to southwest winds around 10 to 20 mph.

Sky/weather.........Sunny then becoming partly sunny. Chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms through the day.
Chance of pcpn......40 percent.
Max temperature.....93 to 96.
Min humidity........20 to 30 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southeast winds around 5 to 10 mph shifting to
                    the south around 10 to 15 mph after 11 AM MST, then
                    shifting to the southwest around 10 to 20 mph after
                    2 PM MST. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms.
Max Vent Rate.......Excellent.
Clearing Index......1409.
Mixing height.......8500 ft AGL in the morning increasing to 10700 ft AGL
                    in the afternoon.
Transport winds.....Southeast around 10 knots shifting to the
                    southwest in the afternoon.

                    Chance of showers and thunderstorms until midnight,
                    then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms
                    overnight.
Chance of pcpn......40 percent until midnight, then 20 percent overnight.

Max humidity........60 to 70 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southwest to west winds around 10 to 15 mph through
                    2000 MST. Then expect light and variable winds around
                    5 mph or less overnight. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms.
