.DISCUSSION...An active monsoon pattern will continue to bring good chances
for showers and thunderstorms each day. Storm motion on Tuesday will be from
east to west. The primary hazard from storms will be flash flooding due to
periods of heavy rainfall, and a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the area
from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening. There is a risk of large hail
as well. In addition, thunderstorm outflow wind speeds between 30-40 mph are
possible in the vicinity of storms. Outside of storm activity, winds will be
light.

.TUESDAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny in the morning with a 10% chance
                    of showers and thunderstorms. After 1200, mostly
                    cloudy with a 70% chance of showers and
                    thunderstorms.
Chance of pcpn......70 percent.
Chance lightning....10 percent increasing to 70 percent in the
                    afternoon.
Max temperature.....74-78 at the top of the rim. 83-87 at the lower elevations.
Min humidity........53-57 at the top of the rim. 44-48 at the lower elevations.
Wind (20 ft)........Light, terrain driven winds until 1100. After 1100,
                    southwest 5-10 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms.
Max Vent Rate.......Fair.

Mixing height.......6000 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....Northwest 0 to 5 knots shifting to the
                    southwest around 5 knots early in the
