...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR APACHE COUNTY...

At 350 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
         underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Springerville, Lyman Lake State Park, Becker Lake and Lyman Lake.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 60 between mile markers 377 and 387. Highway 180 191 between
mile markers 380 and 381...and between mile markers 386 and 394.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Lyman Lake Campground.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Coyote Creek, Little Colorado River, Carnero Creek, Vigil Run and
  Nutrioso Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
