potentially record setting, from this coming Sunday into Tuesday.

next week.

.DISCUSSION...A mild westerly flow will set up over Arizona over.
As a result, daytime temperatures will climb over the coming days,
potentially reaching record values from Sunday into Tuesday. The
air mass will have central Pacific origins and bring with it some
moisture. Not enough for any precipitation but the additional
moisture will keep even overnight low temperatures elevated
compared to long term averages. Other than that, periods of high
cloudiness will stream across our area as a series of storms
buffet northern California and the Pacific Northwest. A weak
pressure gradient ensures that winds will remain on the light side
generally southwesterly at 5 to 15 mph during the day and
light/variable at night.

Our next best chance of precipitation will come late next
around Thursday with a passing jet max. However, much like the
winter so far, accumlations of rain/snow are forecast to be
minimal. Pressure gradients will also strengthen later next week
and the one thing that always seems certain, the development of gusty
winds.
