...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN GRAND FORKS...SOUTHEASTERN NELSON...NORTHWESTERN
CASS...NORTHWESTERN TRAILL...GRIGGS...BARNES AND STEELE COUNTIES...

At 248 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northeast of Jessie to 6 miles southeast of
Ypsilanti, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Public. At 2:30 am the Glenfield NDDOT station gusted to
         62mph in far eastern Foster Co.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Valley City, Cooperstown, Northwood, Hatton, Golden Lake, Finley, and
Hope.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

These are dangerous storms, capable of producing large hail driven by
severe winds! SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay
away from windows! If you are caught outdoors, cover your head and

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading

be struck by lightning.
