The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Wilkin County in west central Minnesota...
  Southeastern Richland County in southeastern North Dakota...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 824 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hankinson, or
  17 miles southwest of Wahpeton, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hankinson, Fairmount, Great Bend, Lamars, Blackmer, and Sonora.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 1 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
