...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CLAY...WESTERN OTTER TAIL...
WILKIN...WESTERN BECKER...RANSOM...SOUTHEASTERN CASS...RICHLAND AND
SARGENT COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 528 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Felton to Lake Traverse Reservation.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fargo, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, Wahpeton, Moorhead, West Fargo,
and Dilworth.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 0 and 79.
 Interstate 94 in North Dakota between mile markers 329 and 54.
 Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 329 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
northwestern and west central Minnesota...and southeastern North
Dakota.
