Here are the Recreation Area Forecasts...

Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...South winds around 10 mph shifting to the northeast.
Waves 1 foot or less. Sunny. Highs 85 to 95.
.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Areas of smoke late in the evening. Partly cloudy. Lows in the
mid 60s.
.THURSDAY...Breezy. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to
2 feet. Mostly sunny. Highs 85 to 95.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...South winds around 10 mph early in the morning becoming
light. Waves 1 foot or less. Chance of thunderstorms until
afternoon. Mostly cloudy early in the morning then becoming
mostly sunny. Highs in the 70s.
.TONIGHT...East winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Areas
of smoke early in the evening. Partly cloudy. Lows around 60.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly sunny. Highs 75 to 85.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...West winds 10 to 15 mph early in the morning becoming
light, then becoming northeast around 10 mph early in the
afternoon becoming light. Waves 1 to 2 feet subsiding to 1 foot
or less in the afternoon. Slight chance of thunderstorms early in
the morning. Mostly cloudy early in the morning then becoming
mostly sunny. Highs 65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...Light winds becoming southeast around 10 mph early in
the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly clear. Lows in the
upper 50s.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly sunny. Highs in the 70s.
