Here are the Recreation Area Forecasts...

Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the
south after midnight. Waves 1 foot or less. Scattered
thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 60s.
.INDEPENDENCE DAY...South winds around 10 mph shifting to the
north 10 to 20 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves
1 foot or less. Isolated showers in the morning. Partly sunny.
Highs in the 80s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight. Scattered thunderstorms
until early morning. Scattered showers late in the evening.
Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.REST OF TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Scattered thunderstorms in the late evening and overnight.
Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in
the mid 60s.
.INDEPENDENCE DAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly sunny. Highs in the 80s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds around 10 mph shifting to the
northwest early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Numerous
thunderstorms until early morning. Showers through the night.
Cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.REST OF TONIGHT...South winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 2 to 4 feet after midnight. Scattered thunderstorms
in the late evening and overnight. Numerous showers early in the
morning. Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly
cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
.INDEPENDENCE DAY...South winds 10 to 20 mph shifting to the
north 10 to 15 mph late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 feet
subsiding to 1 foot or less in the afternoon.  and scattered
thunderstorms. Partly sunny. Highs in the 70s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...East winds around 10 mph shifting to the
southwest in the late evening and early morning, then shifting to
the northwest early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less.
Scattered thunderstorms in the evening. Showers likely through
the night. Cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
