waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...West winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly
clear then becoming partly sunny in the morning then becoming
mostly sunny. Highs 55 to 65.
.TONIGHT...Breezy. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to
2 feet. Chance of rain. Mostly cloudy. Lows around 30.
.SATURDAY...Breezy. West winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Sunny. Highs 35 to 45.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Sunny early in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Highs
45 to 55.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 1 to 2 feet after midnight. Chance of rain in the
late evening and overnight. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 3 feet. Sunny.
Highs 35 to 45.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph shifting to the
southwest 10 to 15 mph late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Mostly sunny early in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy.
Highs 45 to 55.
.TONIGHT...Windy. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less building to 1 to 3 feet after midnight. Chance of rain
through the night. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s.
.SATURDAY...Windy. West winds 25 to 35 mph. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
