waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...Breezy. East winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Mostly clear in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in
the mid 60s.
.WEDNESDAY...Breezy. East winds 20 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
Partly sunny. Highs in the 80s.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Windy. East winds 20 to 30 mph. Waves 1 to
3 feet. Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 60s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
.WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Partly sunny. Highs 75 to 85.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in
the mid 60s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Mostly
cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s.
.WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Cloudy. Highs in the 70s.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds around 10 mph in the evening
becoming light, then becoming east around 10 mph early in the
morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Chance of showers through the
night. Patchy smoke after midnight. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the
mid 60s.
