Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to
2 feet. Patchy smoke after midnight, then areas of smoke until
afternoon. Patchy smoke. Slight chance of showers after midnight.
Partly cloudy. Lows around 60.
.SUNDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Chance of showers through the day. Partly sunny. Highs in the
70s.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Chance of showers through the night. Partly cloudy in the evening
then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.REST OF TONIGHT...South winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Areas of smoke, then patchy smoke in the late evening and
early morning. Areas of smoke early in the morning. Partly
cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
.SUNDAY...Southeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Partly sunny. Highs 65 to 75.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds around 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.


For Lake of the Woods...

less. Areas of smoke. Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s.

light, then becoming southeast around 10 mph in the afternoon.
