waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 50s.
.FRIDAY...Windy. West winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 25 to
35 mph in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
Sunny. Highs 65 to 75.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Windy. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph. Waves 2 to
4 feet. Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the
late evening and early morning. Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower
60s.
.FRIDAY...Breezy. West winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon. Sunny. Highs in the
70s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 3 to
