Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less
building to 1 to 2 feet after midnight. Chance of thunderstorms
through the night. Slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight.
Cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
.SATURDAY...Breezy. North winds 15 to 25 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
Mostly sunny. Highs in the 70s.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet
subsiding to 1 foot or less after midnight. Partly cloudy in the
evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds around 10 mph shifting to the south in
the late evening and early morning, then shifting to the north
early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less. Showers early in the
evening. Thunderstorms likely through the night. Cloudy. Lows in
the mid 60s.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Showers likely in the morning. Slight chance of thunderstorms
until late afternoon, then slight chance of showers late in the
afternoon. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the 70s.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the
northwest early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less.
Thunderstorms likely. Cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s.
.SATURDAY...North winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Chance
of showers. Partly sunny. Highs 65 to 75.
