Here are the Recreation Area Forecasts...

Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TODAY...South winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the west in the
afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less. Sunny.
Highs 65 to 75.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s.
.FRIDAY...North winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the east late in
the afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less. Sunny. Highs 55 to 65.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TODAY...South winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 2 to 4 feet. Sunny early
in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the 60s.
.TONIGHT...South winds around 10 mph shifting to the northwest
10 to 20 mph in the late evening and overnight. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows in the mid
40s.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Sunny. Highs in the 50s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TODAY...Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph shifting to the
southwest 10 to 15 mph late in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
Sunny early in the morning then becoming partly sunny. Highs
55 to 65.
.TONIGHT...Breezy. West winds 10 to 15 mph shifting to the
northwest 15 to 25 mph in the late evening and overnight. Waves
1 foot or less building to 1 to 2 feet after midnight. Mostly
cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows in the mid 40s.
.FRIDAY...Breezy. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph decreasing to
10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 feet subsiding to
1 foot or less in the afternoon. Sunny. Highs in the 50s.
