...NWS Damage Survey for 07/07/2025 Tornado Event...


This is a summary of the North Dakota Tornadoes which occurred
across Towner, Cavalier, and Walsh counties with four separate
EFO tornadoes lasting less that than 5 minutes on average though
there was a long lasting EFO tornado near Calio that was rather
visually impressive but did no reported damage. This was
suspected to be a landspout due to no radar signature matching
what would be expected from a tornadic storm.

Survey Summary:
A large dusty tornado was reported near Calio ND with no damage
conveyed from any sources who witnessed it. It is suspected that
this was spawned out of landspout processes which likely
contributed to its dusty tube like appearance as seen on social
media.
