This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

1 to 4 inches of snow is expected across the area Wednesday into
Wednesday night. However, the 3 to 4 inch amounts are mainly
expected east of the Red River Valley, from the Lake of the Woods
region down through Bemidji to the Park Rapids area.

This snow will be followed by gusty winds, which will develop late
Wednesday night and continue through the day Thursday. The
strongest winds should remain along and west of the Red River
Valley, where some blowing and drifting snow is anticipated.
Exactly how low visibilities may get depends on many factors. The
biggest one may be whether the falling snow ends before the gusty
winds arrive.

A chance of snow exists Saturday for southeast North Dakota and
west central Minnesota.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today.
