.DISCUSSION...

RH values are widely 20 to 30 percent currently across the region
except in southeast North Dakota where they are 30 to 40 percent,
Winds remaining light 5-15 mph through the period. The higher end of
the winds will tend to be in ND where the highest RH values and more
stable fuels are in place.

There is a slight chance (20%) for a light shower in far southeast
ND and northwest MN this afternoon, but wetting rain (0.1"+) is not
expected. Scattered showers are expected with a low pressure system
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons (40% mainly south of Highway 2),
with a 30% chance for wetting rain where these showers track. There
is also a low chance (20% or less) for lighting activity during
those afternoon periods.
