...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Paulding, southern
Cherokee, northwestern DeKalb, southwestern Forsyth, Haralson,
northeastern Carroll, Cobb, northwestern Gwinnett, northeastern
Fulton, Polk and southern Bartow Counties through 745 PM EDT...

At 643 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Mars Hills to Johns Creek. These storms were nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Heavy rain and slow to stationary storms may cause
         temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Marietta, Cartersville, Dallas, Cedartown, Cumming, Buchanan,
Peachtree Corners, Mountain Park, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns
Creek, Alpharetta, Smyrna, Dunwoody, Milton, Kennesaw, Duluth,
Woodstock, Acworth, and Sugar Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.
