...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Macon,
northwestern Dodge, northwestern Pulaski, south central Twiggs,
southern Bleckley, southern Peach and southern Houston Counties
through 815 AM EDT...

At 752 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Sand Bed, or 7 miles
east of Perry, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Perry, Cochran, Hawkinsville, Hayneville, Browndale, Meadowdale,
Empire, Houston Lake, Mobley Crossing, Grove Park, Royal, Ocmulgee
Public Fishing Area, Moss Oak, Paulk, Pulaski State Prison, Porter,
Kathleen, Coley Station, Sand Bed, and Grovania.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
