...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of western DeKalb,
southeastern Cobb, east central Douglas and south central Fulton
Counties through 845 PM EDT...

At 810 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Sandtown, or near City
of South Fulton, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Douglasville, Decatur, City of South Fulton, Peachtree
Corners, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Dunwoody, East Point, College Park,
Chamblee, Doraville, Clarkston, Hapeville, Stone Mountain, Avondale
Estates, Pine Lake, North Decatur, North Atlanta, and Midtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
