...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Baldwin, southwestern
Putnam, west central Hancock and northeastern Jones Counties through
1130 PM EDT...
At 1100 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Milledgeville to near Wayside, and moving north
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, frequent cloud to ground lightning and
heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Milledgeville, Gray, Midway-Hardwick, Meriwether, Ethridge, Bradley,
Wayside, Underwood, Allenwood, Haddock, Resseaus Crossroads, Round
Oak, Clinton, Plant Harlee Branch, Hardwick, Browns Crossing, and
Blountsville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
