Isolated thunderstorms are expected in portions of north and central Georgia through this sunset. Severe weather is not anticiptated, but a few storms could be strong with winds of up to 45 mph and capable of producing very small hail. Any storms which do form will be capable of frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday... Heat index values are expected to be in the upper 90s and low 100s across the majority of the area on Monday afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible in portions of north Georgia on Monday. Chances for thunderstorms will then continue to steadily increase each day through the end of the week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. $$
