This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
between 11 AM and 1 AM. An isolated strong to severe storm or two
could develop this afternoon across central Georgia with wind
gusts in the 40 to 60 mph range and periods of heavy rain.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Diurnally driven isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
expected each afternoon and evening through Thursday. Persistent
rainfall through next week could pose a flooding threat,
particularly in central Georgia.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta.  Please relay any information about observed severe
weather to the NWS.
