Scattered thunderstorms are expected in north Georgia between 2 PM this afternoon and 6 AM Saturday. A couple of these storms could be severe with wind gusts in the 40 to 60 mph range. Isolated storms are possible in central Georgia during the same time range, but the severe risk is lower. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday... Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon, but the greatest risk for severe weather is expected in the evening when a complex of strong storms may move out of Alabama. The primary hazard Saturday evening should be wind gusts near 60 mph. Daily thunderstorm activity will likely continue in Georgia through next Thursday. A limited potential for severe weather will likely exist each day. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. $$
