This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

Hot and humid conditions will continue in north and central
Georgia today. An Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory remain
in place through 8 PM. Peak heat indices in the 103 to 112 degree
range are expected.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. A
couple of storms may produce hazardous wind gusts in the 40 to 50
mph range.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Hot and humid weather will continue on Wednesday and Thursday.
Peak heat indices near 105 will be possible in central and eastern
Georgia.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will continue
through the weekend. While the overall risk of severe weather is
low, a couple of storms could produce strong downburst winds each
day.
