This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

Scattered thunderstorms will bring locally heavy rainfall to
portions of the area, especially northwest and western Georgia,
overnight. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches with locally higher
could lead to localized flash flooding through early Sunday
morning in these areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected,
especially during the afternoon and evening hours, through
Thursday. Persistent rainfall through next week could pose a
flooding threat, particularly in central Georgia.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta.  Please relay any information about observed severe
weather to the NWS.
