Scattered thunderstorms are expected across north Georgia and portions of central Georgia this afternoon and evening. A few storms could become strong and capable of producing frequent lightning and gusty winds. Furthermore, slow moving storms could produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding in the higher elevations of far northeast Georgia. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue during the afternoon and evening hours through Sunday. Storm coverage should be greatest between Thursday and Sunday. Widespread severe weather or flooding are not expected at this time .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. $$
