A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move across north and central Georgia between 4 PM and 11 PM this evening. Wind gusts in the 50 to 70 mph range are the primary potential hazard. Damage to trees in and power lines is likely for some areas along and north of Interstate 20. Frequent lighting will also occur, and a brief burst of hail or a spin up tornado can`t be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Sunday, especially in central Georgia. A few storms could be severe, especially across central Georgia, with the primary hazard being isolated damaging wind gusts. Daily thunderstorm activity will continue in Georgia through next Thursday. A limited potential for severe weather will exist each day. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
