This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

Scattered thunderstorms continue from roughly Peachtree City to
Jackson Georgia. These storms should gradually trend downward this
evening but will be capable of gusty winds and frequent lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

A Heat Advisory remains in effect for much of north and central
Georgia through Sunday evening. Heat index values will exceed 100
degrees for most. Please exercise caution if spending extended
periods of time or doing strenuous activity outdoors.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon
and evening. Several storms may be strong to severe, capable of
producing damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and locally
heavy rainfall.

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS.
