Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across north and central Georgia. Isolated severe storms can also be expected. Primary threats will be strong gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning strikes, and periods of heavy rainfall capable of producing isolated flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday... Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each afternoon through the week. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be primary storm threats. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
