This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Hot weather will continue in north and central Georgia today.
Widespread heat indices near 105 degrees are expected this
afternoon. A Heat Advisory remains in place for today.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected through the evening and early
overnight hours. A couple of storms may produce strong downburst
winds and heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...

Hot and humid weather will continue on Thursday and Friday. Peak
heat indices near 105 are expected in central and eastern Georgia
both days.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will continue
through the weekend. While the overall risk of severe weather is
low each day, a couple of storms could produce strong downburst
winds and heavy rainfall with localized flooding.
