There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe thunderstorms tonight in western Georgia. The risk is highest in northwest Georgia before 1 AM. Areas of dense fog are possible (25% chance) in west central Georgia between midnight and 10 AM Saturday. Fog is most probable south of Atlanta and west of Macon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday... Isolated thunderstorms are expected between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening. Severe weather is not expected at this time. The first widespread freeze of the season is expected Monday night and Tuesday morning. This event will impact all of north and central Georgia. This weekend is the best time to winterize any exposed pipes and bring in sensitive plants. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. $$
