.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! Patchy fog and/or mist will be possible this morning
and improving shortly after sunrise. Isolated to scattered
thunderstorms are forecast to develop again as early as 1-2 PM and
continuing through 9-10 PM. As in previous days, an isolated
strong to severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Strong wind
gusts (40-60 MPH) will be the primary hazard. Small hail, heavy
rainfall, and frequent lightning will also be possible -- the
latter two accompanying any storm that develops.

Temperatures will start off in the 69-73 degree range prior to
sunrise and will quickly warm into the mid 70s to low 80s after 9
AM. Daytime high temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80s
to near 90 in Kennesaw this afternoon. Heat index values will
range from 94 to 96.
