.DISCUSSION...

Expecting afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday. Friday and Saturday will be your most
active weather days. Gulf moisture begins to increase across the
area Friday with a frontal boundary moving into North GA Saturday.
We will see scattered to numerous afternoon showers and
thunderstorms each afternoon. Best timing for thunderstorms Friday
will be between 2pm and 10pm. Things look to begin a bit earlier
Sat with the best timing for thunderstorm development between Noon
and 10pm. We will see another round of scattered showers and
thunderstorms Sunday afternoon as the front moves slowly south
through the state. Right now we are not expecting much in the way
of severe storms either day but any thunderstorms that develop
will have lightning, gusty winds (20-35mph gust) and periods of
heavy rain associated with them. Outside of any thunderstorms,
winds should be out of the W to SW in the 3-7mph range each day.
Temps will peak around 3-4pm each day in the lower 90s.
