.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! A cold front will move across the UGA area later on
this afternoon through the evening hours, with showers and
thunderstorms possible ahead of it and as it moves through.
Coverage of showers and storms will be isolated to scattered at
most, with chances in the 30-40% range at UGA. For timing, it
looks any showers and storms at UGA would primarily be in the
3-8PM window, depending on when the front ends up getting through.
After 9PM, the front should be through the area with rain chances
dropping to near zero.

Severe weather is not anticipated, but there is potential for any
storms today to be strong with gusty winds, lightning, and brief
heavy rainfall.

period or as storms evolve this afternoon, we`ll give you a call.
