.DISCUSSION...

A frontal boundary will be moving into North GA Sat morning and
continue moving slowly south through the day. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms are expected Fri night into Saturday
morning ahead of this front. Coverage of showers and thunderstorms
will steadily increase through the day Sat, becoming widespread
between Noon and 8 PM. While organized severe weather appears to
be unlikely, a few thunderstorms could become strong and capable
of producing frequent lightning, locally heavy rain, and gusty
winds (30-40 mph) at the event site. Thunderstorm chances will
begin to steadily diminish after sunset, though chances will
remain between 20-30% overnight and into early Sunday morning.
Outside of storms, winds will be out of the S to SW in the 2-8
mph range. Increased cloud cover associated with the precipitation
will somewhat limit heating with temperatures expected near 90
deg during the afternoon. High humidity will help heat index
values reach as high as 100 to 102 degrees between 2-4 PM.

We will rerun this forecast Sat morning but please feel free to
contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
